spidaerman:

To all my black followers and friends, stay safe.

Also, I would like to add that black lives have always mattered, will always matter.

It’s awful that we even have to say that because it should be a given. However, we need to say it loud and clear for the racists.

We cannot be silent.

liltouchoftism:

a gay Christian is not an oxymoron

i am a Christian.

i am also a lesbian.

and that does not make me any less of a Christian.

or anyone else who is LGBT+ or tattooed or divorced or whatever else.

to be a Christian, you must believe in the Lord, trust in Him, love Him. you must also love others.

the guidelines for christianity do not include heterosexuality, or clean skin, or perfect marriages, or vegan lifestyles.

sinning does not make you less of a Christian.

all Christians sin.

i am gay. i am a sinner.

my youth leader is tattooed. he is a sinner.

my pastor is divorced. he is a sinner.

my grandparents had children before they were married. they are sinners.

my mother curses. she is a sinner.

my best friends curse. they are sinners.

no sin is worse than the last. no sin stops you from believing in the Lord. no sin stops Him from loving you.

God made you exactly how he wanted you. and i truly believe that he will care more about how you treat other people, than who you love. If he wanted you perfect, with no sin, no wrongdoings, he wouldn’t have made you human.

a gay Christian is not an oxymoron.

a trans Christian is not an oxymoron.

a tattooed Christian is not an oxymoron.

a divorced Christian is not an oxymoron.

a sinful Christian is not an oxymoron.

the only oxymoron that exists with Christianity, is a hateful Christian. that is the only invalid Christian.

a Christian loves others, despite their sin.

because God loved them first, despite theirs.
